Masashi Ito, a New York Michelin-starred sushi chef raised in Oahu, Hawaii takes his childhood favorite, poke, and combines it with his deep-rooted passion for quality fish to bring Wall Street and Midtown Manhattan the best of the Hawaiian speciality. At Poke Chan you’ll find the same responsibly-sourced ingredients Masashi works with everyday, but in a more casual setting. The menu offers a variety of house combinations designed by Masashi such as Keep it Classic: tuna, sweet onion, edamame, avocado, cucumber, wasabi soy dressing topped with hijiki, seaweed salad, masago, ginger & seaweed; and Shell Life: lobster salad, sweet onion, edamame, avocado, cucumber, wasabi soy dressing, topped with wasabi aioli, kanikama, seaweed salad, masago, ginger & seaweed. Guests can also take their own creative spin with a make-your-own option featuring an assortment of bases, proteins, and mix-ins. To top it all of, Masashi developed signature sauces to tie the bowl together like the spicy sha shoyu, miso ginger and wasabi shoyu.
